Boko Haram Releases New Video Pledging To Fight On
Boko Haram, the deadly jihadist sect plaguing the northeast of Nigeria, has released a new video in which an unidentified militant re-affirmed the insurgents’ allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS).In pledging the allegiance to ISIS and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Boko Haram spokesman asserted that the terrorist group, which only recently has been known as IS West Africa Province, was still under the leadership of Abubakar Shekau.
However, Shekau has not appeared in any video since February.
Pictures revealed a number of Boko Haram members taking the vow.
The length of the new video is 16 minutes and 52 seconds.
