 Nollywood actress Sonia Ogiri has come hard on actresses who accused movie producers, directors and marketers of harassing them sexually before they can be given roles.

The Nollywood actress said those who are giving such excuses should come out and tell their world the full story.
To her sex for role demand does not translate to sexual harassment because you are no baby. She said for one to go into Nollywood, organisation or firm to work you should be of age.

Ogiri said: “In the banking industry and every organisation they have them. In my industry, if a director, marketer or whatever asks you out and you said no, they take a walk. For me that is not harassment. They are making their intentions known to you and it is left to you if you are sensible enough, if you like or if you want to live such a life to say yes and play along with them. Nobody in Nollywood is going to hold a gun to your head, no one is going to tell you that if you don’t sleep with them or have a relationship with them, they will kill you or you will no longer be part of Nigeria. If one doesn’t give you a job as an actress or actor, another person will give you. It is a collection of personalities and not just one person. Those people that say they are harassed sexually, they should actually tell you the real story.”

Ogiri was involved in a ghastly motor accident last year that left the car she was driving a total wreck and herself unconscious but for providence. She had featured in movie like ‘Okon’s Wedding’, ‘Cry with Me’, ‘When Tears Can’t Help’ among others.

Mavin Records star Korede Bello has dropped a second single, months after his runaway hit Godwin.

Aside from a couple of collaborations with label mates and other acts, Godwin was Korode’s debut and only single since he joined Mavin.

The label’s CEO, Don Jazzy, posted a snippet of Korede’s latest single, Something Great, on Instagram on Wednesday, September 9. The song features Asa.
In its message, Something Great is similar to Godwin. Both songs talk about Korede’s hard work in chasing his dreams and recognises God’s blessings.

Asa barely jumps on the beats but where she does, it is in her typical jazz infused style.
The excited Korede Bello later went to Instagram to express his pleasure upon the release of his new single as he reminisces on some childhood fantasies and eulogises the duo of Don Jazzy and Asa

 I vividly remember listening to @Donjazzy’s beats with some of my friends and be like ‘Jazzy’s surely one of the Greatest producers that Africa has produced.’ I also remember buying@asa_music album when it came out – probably the first music CD I ever bought with my money. Listening to her message and her voice thinking to myself ‘I’ld love to work with someone as Great’
Now having both ASA and Donjazzy on the same soooong makes me feel like I’m on the right path to be becoming#SomebodyGreat someday by God’s grace Amen

Grace Jones, a woman who clocked 109 on Wednesday, September 16, has revealed that the secret to her longlife is a small glass of whisky every night.


Grace who is from Broadway, Worcestershire, is the oldest person in the United Kingdom.

According to her, she has had a small glass every night for the past 57 years. She is the youngest of three sisters and has received her sixth card from the Queen of England.

She celebrated her milestone birthday with family and friends at Buckland Manor near Broadway.
