Wizkid, Harry Song, Solid Star, Dammy Krane confirmed to perform at Lords of the Ribs with Basketmouth
On the 4th of Oct, Basketmouth and Comedy Central will be hosting the biggest comedy concert that will feature comedians like Bovi, Buchi, Okey Bakassi, Salvador from Uganda, Griff from USA and Ndumiso Lindi and David Kau from South Africa. Music performances from Wizkid, Dammy Krane, Vector, Harry Song, Solid Star, Flavour and many more.

OMG! Do You Remember This #ThrowbackTrack? Listen & Watch the Video for Wizkid’s ‘Holla at your Boy’

From Drake and Skepta being featured on Wizkid‘s “Ojuelegba” remix, to Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz dancing to the track and now being spotted with Kendrick Lamar. It comes to mind how far the Starboy has come from his debut single “Holla At Your Boy“.
We first heard him on M.I‘s “Fast Money, Fast Cars” and when he dropped “Holla At Your Boy” in 2010, everyone knew he was here to stay!
Off his debut album “Superstar”, the song was produced by DJ Klem (Knighthouse) and Vebee. The visuals for the single, directed by Patrick Ellis, was shot at Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos.
A huge song of the year, the video featured cameo appearances from Ice Prince, Skales, D’Prince, Banky W and several others.
Fun facts: Wizkid won the 2011 The Headies Next Rated award for “Holla at Your Boy”. The video was also nominated for “Most Gifted Newcomer Video” at the 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards and for “Best Afro Pop Video” at the 2011 Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA).
It has been an upward journey for Wizkid since then and the Nigerian music scene is still very much in love with the one and only Starboy!

Wizkid Explains Why He Signed With Glo
Nigerian Superstar singer and entertainer, Wizkid has explained why he signed his new endorsement deal with Nigeria’s telecommunications giant, Globacom.
In a statement released through his manager, Mr. Sunday Are, Wizkid explained that Glo has been a brand he has always admired due to their strong persona and its very massive impact and image in the entertainment industry in Nigeria.

“Globacom is huge in my industry and I see the evidence of the company’s commitment to improving the industry and the lives of its practitioners everywhere I turn. To be honest, it’s been a dream to have a working relationship with the Glo brand. An opportunity to turn this dream to reality came, and I took it.”
“It’s an incredible blessing to be sought after by arguably Nigeria’s two most powerful brands at the same time. My decision to go with Globacom this time is not an act of spite against MTN. I simply seized an opportunity to move from Yellow land to greener pastures. God bless.
Wizkid has been one of Nigeria’s main act for the past 6 years producing hit upon hit, he has two albums so far and has won numerous awards.
